As mentioned in the last post, it's always been the objective to make our context conducive for artists
to create and think, that was a big part of the work in Bury/Manchester and applied to the situation
initially in Porto and now in Barcelos. So I'm pleased to share a new Metamedia work called
'Overcasting (Databolism)' by Noah Pred. Noah created it on a visit to Barcelos earlier in the year
and it has just been exhibited as part of A Glitched Utopia: Rethinking the Digital Ruin - an exhibition
curated by Josie Xu at AHVA Gallery, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, 12 June
to 10 July
The eight-layer audiovisual Metamedia piece melds sonifications of both images/video,
and the main poetic layer…
